Our Pro-Life Committee raises awareness in the parish and the community of the sanctity of all human life from conception until natural death, especially the unborn, through education and activities that promote this belief. We believe in the sanctity of human life and a desire to instill in others a love for all humans, at every stage of life. Members attend a monthly meeting and participate in Pro-Life activities such as prayer, fundraisers, March for Life, and/or communication with elected legislators. There are many opportunities to be effectively involved, and some of the fundraisers benefit good, local organizations, such as Mom’s House, A Rose and A Prayer, Delaware Right to Life, and Birthright. Participating in the Pro-Life committee provides us with the opportunity to live and share the Catholic teaching that all human life is sacred, and to help protect the vulnerable in a most moral way through civil and parochial means.
