Morning Brew is a ½ day men’s retreat held at SMA for all men of the parish. It is held three times a year, always on a Saturday morning. The session begins at 9:00 am following the 8:30 am morning mass (which is optional) and ends at 12:00 or 12:30 pm depending on the program. Coffee and donuts will be provided and the session is free.
Many topics will be men centric, focusing on our unique role in the church as fathers, husbands, sons and brothers. Morning Brew will also make an effort to clarify the church’s position on many complex issues to increase our understanding of the “why” of our faith.
The morning session is a time we can put aside our work, family and other pressing matters to think about God and his plan for us. We welcome men at all points along their faith journey. Those who may be questioning their faith as well as those looking to strengthen their relationship with God.
Morning Brew is not a one and done event. Our themes and content change from session to session and our hope is that men will want to come for spiritual refreshment as often as they are available. Like Cornerstone, there is no clergy involved. These events are organized and run by men for men.
No pre-work is necessary. We ask only that you complete the registration card at the top of this page. If there are any questions, please contact Jim Robinson at (302) 373-0265 or jprobinson98@gmail.com.
