June and August Summer Hybrid Sessions: 16 class hours + 14 Faith First Hours
Faith First Hours are completed with the family. A Faith First Hour is a time when the family puts their Faith First!
Here are some ways to earn Faith First Hours:
Complete a chapter in your child's book that was not completed in the in-person class time. Grades 1-5 have access to the Christ In Us online portal with additional videos and activities. Grades 6-8 have a sign in for the Connect! book with modules associated with each chapter that can be completed.
Attend a Diocesan Event--For ex. Marian Pilgrimage, October 2023
Watch a Formed movie/video- Formed is a Catholic streaming service. (Formed.org put in church zip code 19707 and join parish subscription to use for free.)
Attending Stations of the Cross during Lent
Setting up and lighting an Advent Wreath all 4 Sundays of Advent
Family Reconciliation Saturday: Confessions are heard every Saturday at 3:30 pm in the Chapel Reconciliation Room.
Attend Adoration—1st Monday of each month (9:00am- 12:00noon)
Pray the Rosary together: check out iRosary app to help walk you through the rosary

Visit a shrine: Holy Spirit Church in New Castle- Shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace The Cathedral of Saint Peter: 500 North West Street, Wilmington St. Francis Xavier Shrine (Old Bohemia) Warwick, MD In PA: Shrine of the Miraculous Medal; Shrine of St. Katherine Drexel in Bensalem: Shrine of St John Neuman to name a few.
